An E-type Series 1 restored to the highest standard. As an investment or as a reliable classic to drive, the once-in-a-century design of this rare Opalescent Golden Sand coupe is authentic to how it left the factory in February 1964.
As with almost 70% of all left-hand drive E-types, after leaving the production line this symbol of wealth and glamour was shipped to the USA. Having no serious sports cars of their own and having the budget, the E-type was right at home in the American market.
After spending its life in New York, USA, in 2022, this E-type was found by Jaguar Land Rover Classic in excellent condition; meaning that nothing stood in the way of a meticulous nut & bolt restoration. Taking 1½ years and over 2,000 hours of work by our experts, only irreparable parts were replaced. All work carried out by our specialists to the greatest level of care as at the Jaguar factory in 1964.
The soulful engine of this E-type was put through its paces on a test-bench by our engineers before being reinstalled into this intricate restoration. To ensure the highest quality, originality and authenticity; this E-type was test driven for 400km post restoration.
