JAGUAR D-TYPE CONTINUATION

Own one of 25.

In 1995, 100 race-specification D-types were planned. But only 75 were ever built. Today, Jaguar Classic completes the journey.

ENDURING GLORY

D-type was conceived with one objective in mind, to win the world’s most revered endurance race. This prophecy was fulfilled, and then some. With three consecutive Le Mans titles from 1955-1957.

TRUE TO THE ORIGINAL

The extended bonnet. The futuristic tail fin. The monocoque construction. D-type’s beautifully realised design changed the game for motorsport performance.

With exclusive access to original Jaguar engineering drawings and records, each new D-type Continuation is built to the authentic specifications laid down by Competitions Manager, Lofty England and his team in the 1950s.

YOUR TYPE

D-type Continuation is available as a 1955-specification shortnose with ‘single hump’ or 1956-specification longnose with ‘tail fin’. Sixteen exterior colours and nine interior leather choices are offered alongside an optional race roundel pack echoing the original racing livery.

ICONIC JAGUAR PERFORMANCE

The legendary 3.4-litre straight-six XK engine, with triple Weber 45 DC03 carburettors, is meticulously constructed by a single technician to an exacting standard. The shortnose produces 295bhp with the longnose producing 320bhp.

JAGUAR C-TYPE CONTINUATION

A PIONEERING RACE SPECIFICATION

In 1951, a trio of C-types arrived at Le Mans, ready to break every speed and distance record. With its fluid shape, the C-type was a pioneering race car, introducing aerospace-inspired principles to the sport. Winning Le Mans on its debut was just the start

Islay Edition is limited to just 30 unique examples, with 17 available as a 90 short wheelbase and 13 as a seven-seat 110 wheelbase respectively. Each vehicle is a meticulously restored and rebuilt Classic Defender that has been expertly sourced by Land Rover Classic specialists.
